2020
nexos+1 transforms to the digital world
The pandemic prompted the digital transformation of nexos+1. We adapted our corporate membership to a virtual service and, instead of our annual central event, we developed a series of webinars to continue connecting and informing our community+1.
2019
Climate change in business strategy
We gathered CEOs and sustainability managers in our Executive Encounter to reflect on the role that business can and should assume, in a moment in which problems exceed government capability in Latin America.
2017
Connecting businesses for sustainability
The nexos+1 experience guided participants along a process of inspiration, through success stories told by their protagonists; information, through experts who are making sustainably focused business a reality; and interaction, between the experts and participants to build connections that strengthen sustainable initiatives.
2018
nexos+1 membership and Purpose
The nexos+1 corporate membership was born to accompany companies with a year of services. The 2018 corporate conference highlighted how purpose is transforming business, the economy and technology towards sustainability. More than 55 international experts and sustainability leaders participated.
2016
A window into business of the future
nexos+1 2016 brought recognized experts and drivers of sustainable economy from throughout Latin America, such as Pedro Tarak, founder and president of Sistema B Internacional; Leonardo Maldonado, general manager of Gulliver; Juan Pablo Larenas, executive director of Sistema B; Franco Piza, sustainability director of Grupo Bancolombia; and Jorge Ramos, executive president of Sura Perú, among others.
2015
Innovation for sustainability
nexos+1 2015 benefited from the special participation of Gunter Pauli, best-selling author of “The Blue Economy”, which proposes a new way of doing business based on a more innovative, clean and efficient circular economy. The event showcased international experts and was inaugurated by the then Peruvian Minster of Environment, Manuel Pulgar-Vidal.
2021
The future we choose and DecarBOOST
The nexos+1 central event returned as a virtual encounter in which we inspired a sustainable and low-carbon post-pandemic recovery, with an eye towards COP26. It also launched the DecarBOOST Annual Investment Forum, dedicated to climate finance in Latin America. nexos+1 continued to develop webinars and digital workshops throughout the year on climate action, circular economy and climate finance with DecarBOOST.
