ENGIE Peru received the Sustainable Development 2024 Award granted by the National Society of Mining, Oil and Energy (SNMPE), for the project “Reforestation in Quitaracsa: Sowing Dreams”This project, in collaboration with the Avanzar Rural program, seeks to mitigate climate change, restore degraded ecosystems and promote sustainable development through the reforestation of 130 hectares.
The 2024 Sustainable Development Award event was a recognition to those executives who lead with effort and concrete actions in key areas such as environmental protection, social responsibility and green economy.
