Agua San Carlos contributes to reforestation of the Peruvian Amazon

San Carlos Waterbeverage bottled and packaged by cbc Peru, will contribute to environmental conservation through its project "San Carlos Forest".which consists of planting 15 thousand trees in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.

To achieve this goal, Agua San Carlos formed a strategic alliance with Tree-Nation, a non-profit organization that connects citizens and companies with projects that involve planting trees anywhere in the world to offset their CO2 emissions.

The trees will be planted on a 15-hectare plot of land, equivalent to 30 soccer fields, deep in the Peruvian Amazon. In this way, the "San Carlos Forest" will seek to contribute to the protection of natural biodiversity, as well as to the rights, autonomy and wisdom of the indigenous communities.

"Climate change is a problem that involves all of us. At Agua San Carlos, we are firmly committed to promoting actions that allow us to care for the environment. Through this action, we seek to inspire all consumers of the brand to be more environmentally conscious, inviting them to consume products that are responsible with their surroundings," said Alessandra Medina, Brand Manager of cbc Peru.
