Ferreycorp in the S&P Sustainability Yearbook for the fourth year, and the only Latin American company in its sector.

Ferreycorp

For the fourth consecutive year, Ferreycorp, a leading capital goods and services corporation, was included in the Sustainability Yearbook, S&P Global's renowned sustainability yearbook, and was highlighted as the only Latin American firm in the trade and distribution sector in this edition. It should be noted that the company has been present in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index for the MILA region since its launch nine years ago, as a pioneer in Peru.

The Peruvian company participated along with 9,200 companies from various industries in S&P Global's most recent corporate sustainability assessment. After an analysis of its environmental, social, governance and economic performance, it was once again included in the Sustainability Yearbook: close to 130 companies from the trade and distribution sector worldwide opted to be evaluated, and only nine were included in the prestigious yearbook. Ferreycorp was considered alongside companies from Europe, Asia and Africa.

“These results reflect a sustained effort to integrate environmental, social and governance criteria into our corporate management and operations. This participation is a benchmark that allows us to measure ourselves against international standards and continue to improve our sustainability performance, in line with our commitment to create value for all our stakeholders,” said Mariela García de Fabbri, general manager of Ferreycorp.

In the area of governance and economics, factors such as corporate governance, supply chain, risk management, materiality, transparency and reporting, and business ethics were considered. On the environmental front, aspects such as environmental policy and management system, emissions management, water management, waste management, climate strategy - which includes physical and transition risk management - and product sustainability were examined.

In the social area, this prestigious evaluation considered key variables such as talent attraction and retention, human capital development, occupational health and safety, and customer relations.

With 103 years of operations and more than 7,800 employees in Peru and other Latin American countries, Ferreycorp is a leading corporation in the field of capital goods and related services.
