As part of its sustainability strategy, CBC initiated a pilot project in 2021 with the objective of strengthening local government source segregation programs. The core of this initiative is the generation of partnerships with the private sector, public entities, civil organizations and citizens to optimize and enhance community participation through a coordinated effort.
This joint work is based on the implementation of incentives and technological tools that enable more effective waste tracking, thus contributing to more effective recycling management. They are currently working hand in hand with the municipalities of Jesús María and Miraflores.
