McKinsey believes that the first The first companies to adopt commercial Carbon Capture, Storage and Use (CCUS) technologies at scale will be companies in the United States and Canada. heavy industrial sectors, that they will have to use them in their own facilities to meet national zero-zero transition requirements.  

This is the main conclusion of the report published by McKinsey that evaluates the current
CCUS worldwide capacity, which currently covers less than half of the
annual global emissions.
