Urbanova promotes a more sustainable city
Urbanova continues to move forward with a clear vision: to build more sustainable cities through increasingly responsible, efficient and low-carbon operations. In 2025, the company achieved for the fourth consecutive year the Fourth Star of the Peru Carbon Footprint Program, granted by the Ministry of Environment (Minam), The company is the first real estate company in the country, in its category, to achieve this highest recognition.
This milestone reflects sustained work that goes beyond a single measurement. The Fourth Star recognizes organizations that measure, verify, reduce and neutralize their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions under international standards, reaffirming Urbanova's commitment to solid, long-term environmental management.
A climate strategy with concrete results
During the last year, Urbanova managed to reduce its carbon footprint by 12,71%, reaching a consolidated 5,409.68 tCO₂eq in its 15 operating units. This progress was possible thanks to the optimization of energy consumption, the improvement of air conditioning and lighting systems, and the use of the Energy Management platform, which allows for more efficient, traceable and continuous control of energy consumption.
In order to sustain this performance, the company strengthened its external audits under the ISO 14064, implemented operational reduction plans, modernized equipment and incorporated renewable energy in its main assets.

This recognition is the result of the work of our teams and a clear strategy that drives us to continue moving towards decarbonization and the construction of more sustainable urban destinations,” said Joanna Wieland, Urbanova's Sustainability and Process Management Manager.
Decarbonization target to 2030
As part of its climate roadmap, Urbanova established a decarbonization goal for 2030, which contemplates a 45% reduction of its total CO₂ emissions, aligned with global standards and the country's climate commitments.
This management is based on corporate governance, through the annual monitoring of indicators, the incorporation of ESG criteria in the operation of its assets and the coordinated work of the Sustainability Committee, in which key areas such as Operations, Finance, Risks, Projects and Human Resources participate.
In this way, emissions reduction is integrated as a transversal practice that strengthens the company's environmental performance and consolidates a long-term vision.
Renewable energy and spaces that generate positive impact
At the end of 2025, Urbanova will have 11 assets in its portfolio. urban destinations Paseo Begonias and San Borja that operate with 100% renewable energy, backed by I-REC certificates, which guarantee the wind, solar and hydraulic origin of the electricity consumed. In 2024 alone, the company recorded a consumption of 38,280 MWh of renewable energy, consolidating this pillar as a fundamental part of its environmental strategy.
At the same time, the company made progress in inclusion and well-being by achieving 10 AIS-certified spaces, becoming the first company in Latin America to obtain this international accessibility accreditation, which evaluates spaces based on technical and people-centered criteria.
Building a more efficient and sustainable future
Torre Rosales, Urbanova's next prime office real estate project in its main urban destination, Paseo Begonias, will be a reflection of this commitment. The building will incorporate sustainable solutions from its conception, such as energy efficiency systems and intelligent resource management, and is projected to be the most modern office building in the country. It will also be Gold and AIS certified, reaffirming the company's quality and sustainability standards.
