Volunteers from BRITISH lived a transformative experience by becoming "Recyclers for a Day", learning first-hand how the circular economy works and the importance of giving new life to objects.
During the day, they explored how, through the collection, maintenance and reuse of used objects, affordable and safe shopping opportunities can be created for families residing in the district of Villa El Salvador, while at the same time encouraging responsible consumption. These spaces are known as Ecobazares, where every object finds a second chance.
It was a day full of learning, environmental awareness and social action that reaffirms the commitment of the educational institution to generate a positive impact on the community and the planet.
This initiative was made possible thanks to Recidar, who opened their doors to the volunteers and showed how, with small changes and concrete actions, it is possible to build a more sustainable future.
