Scotiabank to reduce carbon footprint by eliminating the use of brochures in branches

As of this month, Scotiabank the use of printed brochures will decrease of all its agencies at the national level and will use information panels with QR code to share information about its products with customers. This action is part of Scotiabank's sustainability strategy, with which it aims to reduce the impact of your carbon footprint for the following years.

The use of QR to provide product information will prevent the printing of more than 789 thousand brochures per year, equivalent to 67 trees. In addition, its use decreases physical contact and promotes the health care of people visiting the bank's branches nationwide.

Now, access to information on the bank's main products and services will be through QR panels that can be easily accessed by the customer. scanned from the cell phone and will direct them to the corresponding sections on the Scotiabank website.
