Sustainability in action: DP World's main achievements in Peru during 2025

2025 was marked by actions with impact and sustainable vision. Under its strategy Our World, Our Future, DP World in Peru seeks to make sustainability not just an add-on, but part of the heart of the business.

Throughout the year, the organization promoted initiatives aimed at developing its communities and promoting a culture focused on diversity, inclusion and environmental responsibility, always in line with its purpose of to create a business that develops lives.

In this section we present the main milestones that reflect how this purpose is translated into concrete results.

COMMUNITY

1. Digital Classrooms Program

The program contributed to equipping I.E. 5003 Virgen de la Inmaculada Concepción with technological infrastructure to strengthen digital learning.

Impact achieved

  • 7 digital classrooms

  • 1 computer room

  • 300 students benefited

*Since the beginning of the program until 2025, the following have been implemented 34 classrooms.

2. Global Education Program

The program accompanies 150 students in their personal and vocational development.

Results of the training process:

  • Lack of clarity about what to do when school is over decreased from 15 % to 6 %.

  • The valuation of the teamwork increased from 8 % to 28 %.

  • The perception of the importance of having a purpose for the future increased from 38 % to 72 %..

3. Sea of Opportunities Program

This initiative promotes the strengthening of the work of artisanal fishermen.

Achievements

  • 111 artisanal fishermen beneficiaries of 4 partnerships.

  • 75 fishermen accompanied in their formalization process.

  • 4 alliances with fishermen's associations.

In addition, the program included:

  • Delivery of equipment to strengthen productive activities.

  • Soft skills training workshops aimed at association leaders.

4. Paita Fuerte Program

The initiative contributes to strengthening the capacities of 45 women leaders belonging to 15 community organizations.

Achievements

  • 746 people benefited.
  • 100 % of the organizations now have adequate water storage systems.
  • 2 strategic alliances established with local institutions.

5. Together on the Road Program

This program promotes healthy eating habits responsible driving between heavy haulage drivers and transport unions.

Results

  • 528 drivers sensitized.

  • Increase in 37 % in the program's WhatsApp community.

  • 10 recognized drivers for good safe driving practices.

  • 3 activations awareness-raising campaigns on road safety.

6. Safe Community Program

The initiative strengthens community capacities in emergency and disaster prevention and response.

Achievements

  • 706 people trained in risk management.

  • 3 educational activities awareness and prevention.

  • 1 strategic alliance to strengthen emergency response.

7. Solidarity that Connects Program

The program promotes actions of volunteering and solidarity support in communities in Callao and Paita.

Results

  • More than 5,300 people benefited.

  • 9 social activities carried out on key dates for the community.

  • 708 volunteers mobilized.

PERSONS

8. Women in Operations

The program promotes women's participation in the port and logistics sector through the training of women in the port and logistics sector. 29 women in operational roles.

Results achieved:

  • +400 % increase in drivers of internal transfer vehicles (ITV).

  • +250 % increase in operators crane (RS) and forklift (FL).

  • +100 % increase in roles of inspectors, supervisors and coordinators.

In addition, recruiting times in operational positions were reduced by 50 %.

ENVIRONMENT

9. Decarbonization Strategy

Achievements

  • The terminal operates with 100 % I-REC certified renewable energy.

  • Reduction of 6 % emissions intensity.

  • More than 20 thousand tons of CO₂e avoided..

  • 9 800 tons of CO₂e. registered in total emissions.

10. Circular Economy and Waste Management

  • 3 campaigns environmental awareness-raising activities carried out.

  • 49 % of recycling and recovery rate,equivalent to 413.6 tons of waste.

  • Differentiated management of organic and inorganic waste.

Recognitions and achievements

During 2025, The organization received several awards:

  • Sustainable Management Company, with a distinction in two categories:

    • Outstanding mention

    • Better environmental management

  • Great Place to Work4th place in the Sustainable Management category.

  • EDUCCA Municipal Programrecognition of DP World Logistics in Paita for its commitment to environmental education.

  • Ministry of Transportation and Communications: recognition DP World Undertakes in the Best Good Practices in Social Sustainability category.
