Arca Continental Lindley promotes sustainability in its value chain

The company accompanied seven of its strategic partners in the ‘Competitive Businesses’ program of Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), who successfully completed their first and second sustainability reporting.

The GRI report is especially valuable as a tool that enables companies of all sizes, to measure and make visible its sustainability actions and contribution to the development of its sector.. Thus, the companies AKM, Ardepe, Paci, Inversiones Martínez & Chihuantito, Vendomática, Vendtech and San Miguel Industrias were recognized in a virtual ceremony organized by GRI Peru and Avanza Sostenible, where the commitment and drive demonstrated during this challenging context that forced companies to adapting to new customer needs.

It should be noted that all seven partners were trained in environmental, economic and social indicators, This served as the basis for the development of its own sustainability reports, whose information was subsequently entered into a special dynamic platform developed by the GRI.

“We are very proud to promote the competitiveness of our partners through training and support in the development of their reports. We believe it is very important to work in the value chain so that they can understand, manage and communicate their sustainability-related impacts. For this reason, Arca Continental Lindley's commitment to the promoting and managing change towards a sustainable global economy is holding firm,” says Verónica Bonifaz, Director of Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability.

This is the second time that Arca Continental Lindley has participated in the ‘Competitive Business’ program implemented by GRI and the Swiss Cooperation to strengthen sustainability in the value chain by promoting traceability in large companies and increasing the capacity of its strategic partners.
