Fenix Company donates more than 262 million liters of drinking water in Chilca

To date, more than 8,000 residents of Chilca have benefited from drinking water thanks to the joint efforts of the private company and the municipality.

Fenix, an electric power generation and marketing companydonated to date more than 262 million liters of water to the community of Chilcalocated in the province of Cañete, to cover the deficit in terms of access to this fundamental resource.

This initiative is possible because the company has a desalination plant that, using reverse osmosis technology, desalinates seawater to produce drinking water for its neighboring community and demineralized water for its energy production process.
