Toyota del Peru signs agreement to promote research and development of green hydrogen and circular economy

Toyota del Peru has signed a collaboration agreement with the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) to promote research and development of green hydrogen and the circular economy in Peru.

As part of this agreement, projects for the reuse of hybrid vehicle batteries will be launched, promoting sustainable and environmentally responsible practices.

During the signing ceremony, the CEO and Executive President of Toyota del Peru, Takuo Muto, and the rector of the PUCP, Dr. Julio del Valle, were present next to the Toyota Mirai, the hydrogen vehicle that symbolizes the future of zero-emission mobility.

Although the Mirai is not yet available in Peru, Toyota del Peru expects to introduce it in the near future, boosting the promotion of green hydrogen to move towards more sustainable mobility in the country.

In this way, Toyota del Perú moves towards a more sustainable future and generates a positive impact on society.
