Companies towards Decarbonization Course (Peru)

What is the international and local climate context? What is the role of business in climate change? What does it mean to be carbon neutral? How can I measure my organization's climate action and what tools are available for efficient carbon management?

In this participatory and interactive nexos+1 course led by Javier Perla, Sustainable Business Manager of nexos+1 / Libélula and climate change expert, we will address these and other questions, with the aim of providing the necessary tools for companies to become more sustainable organizations.

Dates: 6 sessions Tuesdays and Thursdays: September 20, 22, 27, 29, October 4 and 6.

Time: 8 to 10 am.

Includes certification.

Addressed to: 

Sustainability, environmental and operations managers from the private sector, consultants and any person or company interested in managing their impact and learning about decarbonization.

Specific objectives:

  • Understand the ABC of climate change: science, greenhouse gases, international and national context, and economic relevance Identify risks and opportunities of climate change for business
  • To understand the 360° of carbon management in organizations: measure, manage, verify, offset and report. 
  • Learn how to set climate goals for your organization
  • Get a quick diagnosis of your organization's climate maturity status and recommendations for next steps 
  • Learn about the benefits of and how to join the national Carbon Footprint Peru platform.
