Británico brought together more than 100 volunteers who collected around 4 tons of solid waste in a beach cleanup.

Did you know that more than 8 million tons of plastic are dumped into the ocean every year?

In response to this problem, BRITÁNICO organized a volunteer "Beach Cleanup" at Marquez Beach, one of the most polluted beaches in Peru. This initiative involved the participation of more than 100 volunteers that made possible the collection of approximately 4 tons of solid waste. This action goes hand in hand with Británico's commitment to raise awareness among students at all its sites.

"It has been a very arduous task, we have seen the state of the beach, which is quite worrying, but I am glad that this type of volunteering continues to take place to raise awareness about it and to be able to form a project that builds a better way of thinking in the citizenship", said one of the volunteers. Thanks to the dedication of all the participants, this remarkable achievement was achieved, demonstrating that together we can preserve the beaches of the Peruvian coast.
