In a context where sustainability is positioned as a key factor for business competitiveness, RATE has been consolidating its project Cleaner Production as a fundamental pillar of its environmental management. This initiative promotes concrete actions aimed at optimizing the use of resources and recovering waste, promoting an increasingly efficient operation aligned with sustainability principles.
Through this approach, TASA strengthens practices that not only reduce environmental impacts, but also generate value from a more strategic management of its processes. The reuse and recovery of waste are a central part of this path, allowing us to move towards a more circular operating model.
As part of these efforts, the company participated in the first edition of the event Zero Waste to Landfill, organized by Apiplast (Peruvian Association of the Plastics Industry) and TRANSVIDA Peru, a key space for the exchange of experiences and best practices in sustainable waste management in the industry.
At this meeting, TASA's Head of Environmental Management, Franklin E. Romero, was part of a panel of experts, where he addressed the main challenges and opportunities facing the sector to move towards more sustainable schemes. His participation allowed the sharing of lessons learned and reinforced the importance of articulation between actors to accelerate this process.
In this way, the Cleaner Production project continues to position itself as a strategic tool to strengthen TASA's environmental management, promoting an organizational culture oriented towards efficiency, innovation and long-term sustainability.
