Statkraft Peru joins ANIQUEM to promote recycling and rehabilitation of children with burns

Within the framework of the «Recycle to help»In collaboration with the Asociación de Ayuda al Niño Quemado (ANIQUEM), a group of Statkraft Peru employees visited this Peruvian NGO dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of children and adolescents with burns to deliver recyclable waste from its nine hydroelectric power plants.

These materials are recovered through a Solid Waste Operating Company (EO-RS), and the funds generated co-finance the rehabilitation of ANIQUEM's patients. This joint effort not only contributes to the recovery of the children, but also generates a positive impact on the environment through the proper management of solid waste.

With concrete actions such as this, the company continues to advance in its goal of being an agent of positive change for the sustainable development of Peru.
