Fenix obtained SSIndex Suppliers 2022 seal

Fenix confirms its commitment to its stakeholders by being part of the STAKEHOLDERS SUSTAINABILITY INDEX 2022.

Thanks to the positive evaluation of its suppliers, the power generation company Fenix obtained the SSIndex Suppliers 2022 seal, which supports the company's sustainable management with its stakeholders, and evidences the shared value work with its suppliers to achieve an efficient and sustainable value chain.

Fenix received this seal in a year in which it made a commitment to strategically advance the company's sustainability. In 2022, for example, ESG indicators were included for the first time as corporate objectives to evaluate the company's annual performance. Among these new objectives is the supplier NPS, set at the same level as financial and operational objectives.

Fenix's SSINDEX SUPPLIERS 2022 score was 94% (SSIndex questions only), 18% higher than the average of SSINDEX companies in the supplier category. This result means that 94% of the evaluated suppliers are committed to and validate the work Fenix does on environmental, social and governance (ESG) variables that impact the future value of the company and the commitment of its stakeholders to it.

The Stakeholders Sustainability Index (SSINDEX), developed by experts at Yale University, is a business risk and sustainability indicator that uses information from stakeholders such as employees, customers, suppliers and communities to anticipate risks, identify sustainability focuses and increase stakeholder engagement with the company.
