For the fourth consecutive year,\u00a0\"Recicla Consciente\" Came to BRIT\u00c1NICO<\/strong>\u00a0to mobilize students, teachers, and staff around a common goal: to promote a culture of recycling and raise awareness about caring for the environment.

In this fourth edition, the BRIT\u00c1NICO community managed to collect\u00a05,738.85 kg of reusable materials<\/strong>\u00a0across all of its centers.

More than 5 metric tons recovered thanks to a joint effort

Among the main materials collected during the campaign are:<\/p>

  • Paper and cardboard:<\/strong>\u00a04.48 metric tons.<\/p><\/li>

  • PET plastic and hard plastic:<\/strong>\u00a0594 kg.<\/p><\/li>

  • Glass:<\/strong>\u00a0358 kg.<\/p><\/li>

  • WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment):<\/strong>\u00a0173 kg.<\/p><\/li>

  • In addition to other recyclable materials, such as cans.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    As part of the initiative, the various BRIT\u00c1NICO campuses took on the challenge of collecting and recycling as much properly sorted waste as possible to contribute to its recovery. To recognize their participation, the ranking was based on the number of grams recycled per student.

    In this issue,\u00a0Santa Anita took first place for the third consecutive year<\/strong>, reinforcing its community's commitment to recycling. This achievement was recognized during the Recicla Consciente 2026 awards ceremony, held at that venue.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    A community committed to recycling<\/p>

    Beyond the results achieved,\u00a0Recicla Consciente aims to make recycling part of everyday habits<\/strong>\u00a0and to demonstrate that individual actions can have a greater impact when they are part of a collective effort.<\/p>

    Every bottle, box, sheet of paper, container, or electronic device that was properly sorted helped us exceed 5.7 metric tons collected this year. Through initiatives like this, BRIT\u00c1NICO continues to engage its community in practices that help protect the environment and promote more responsible waste management.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
