In the high Andean areas of Peru, where low temperatures are a constant challenge, having a warm home can make a big difference in the health and well-being of families. An intervention against extreme cold<\/strong><\/p>

The past\u00a0January 12, 2009<\/strong>, the implementation of the\u00a0Clean Hot Houses<\/strong>\u00a0in the Checca Pupuja community in Puno, a sustainable solution designed to improve thermal conditions inside the homes.<\/p>

These technologies conserve heat inside the home and significantly reduce the presence of smoke, helping to create safer and healthier spaces, especially for children and the elderly.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

As a result of this intervention,\u00a05 families<\/strong>\u00a0of the community were benefited with better conditioned houses to face the low temperatures.<\/p>

The official handover of the houses took place on\u00a0March 12<\/strong>, This is an important milestone for families, who now have better conditions for their daily lives. This type of solution not only has an impact on health, but also on the quality of life, allowing for a more dignified and safe environment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This initiative was made possible thanks to the joint work between BRIT\u00c1NICO and the NGO Kusimayo, an organization specialized in sustainable solutions for high Andean communities.<\/p>

In addition, the participation of employees\u00a0Anghela Soto, Alex Chuquimarca and Camila Cordero<\/strong>\u00a0was key during the process, adding effort and commitment at each stage of the implementation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
