This is the largest project at the national level under the 2025 Works for Taxation modality, which will benefit more than 68 thousand residents of Pucusana with water and sanitation services.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation (MVCS) signed the contract for the financing of the Pucusana Scheme project, a work that will be executed under the Works for Taxes (OxI) modality, expanding and improving the drinking water and sewerage systems for more than 68 thousand residents of this district of Metropolitan Lima.<\/span><\/p>

With an investment of S\/291 million, this project will be financed by the company Arca Continental Lindley S.A.<\/a>, This will make it the largest project awarded under the Works for Taxes (OxI) modality at the national level during 2025.<\/span><\/p>

\u201cThis project will provide many opportunities for the beneficiary population. We need companies like this one, transparent, that want to invest in Peru. We will continue knocking on the doors of companies and associations to move forward with projects through OxI\u201d.\u201d<\/span><\/i>, said the Minister of Housing, Wilder Sifuentes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

This is a comprehensive project, under the Safe Water Program for Lima and Callao (PASLC) of the MVCS, which will benefit more than 45 sectors of the district of Pucusana, who will have access to safe water and sewerage in their homes, improving their quality of life after almost 20 years of waiting.<\/span><\/p>

The signing of the agreement will allow financing for the preparation of the technical file (stages 1, 2 and 3) and the execution of stage 1 of the work, which includes the installation of 6,176 new drinking water connections and the rehabilitation of 2,987, benefiting more than 24,000 people who will have access to this basic service for the first time. As for the sewerage system, 2,987 new connections will be installed and 2,540 existing ones will be optimized, in addition to improving more than 80 km of networks and 10 pumping chambers, thus strengthening the district's sanitation infrastructure.<\/span><\/p>
