According to the Ministry of the Environment, more than 23 thousand tons are generated every day, of which a large part is not handled properly. WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) requires specialized treatment to avoid environmental impacts and recover valuable materials in line with the circular economy.\u00a0<\/p><p>With this scenario as a starting point, Comimtel, an operator specializing in solid waste management with more than 21 years of experience in the Peruvian market, organized the first edition of the <strong>R-Evoluciona 2025 Awards<\/strong>. Comimtel has been a pioneer in guaranteeing traceability, valorization and environmental certification in the disposal of waste, significantly impacting the adoption of responsible practices within the sector.<\/p><p>R-Evoluciona is a movement that seeks to inspire and demonstrate that sustainability is built with concrete actions. It seeks to make companies understand that managing their waste responsibly is not only about complying with a standard, but also about betting on innovation, competitiveness and the wellbeing of communities.<\/p><p>In the first edition of this event, 30 categories were recognized, including companies in the telecommunications, mining, banking, retail, industry, education, health and transportation sectors, among others.<\/p><p>Some of the awarded organizations were:<\/p><ul><li>Claro Peru: best telecommunications company<\/li><li>Gloria: best sustainable industry<\/li><li>Oxxo: best retailer<\/li><li>Real Plaza: best shopping center<\/li><li>Copeinca: best fishery<\/li><li>Interbank: best bank<\/li><li>Universidad C\u00e9sar Vallejo: Best Educational Institution<\/li><li>Minera Condestable: best mining company<\/li><li>Besco: best construction company<\/li><li>Pluz Peru: best energy company<\/li><li>Epson: best sustainable management network<\/li><li>Samsung Ecocanje: best innovation project<\/li><li>Latin America: sustainable channel with the greatest impact<\/li><li>Yanbal: best model industry<\/li><li>CBC Peru: better circular industry<\/li><li>Trupal: best garbage can<\/li><li>Agr\u00edcola Don Ricardo: best agroindustry<\/li><li>T-Gestiona: best facilities company<\/li><li>Lima Expresa: best road concessionaire<\/li><li>Line 1: better urban transportation system<\/li><li>Cl\u00ednica Internacional: best health institution<\/li><li>Konecta: best service company<\/li><li>Los Portales: best real diversity of categories reflects the breadth of sectors committed to sustainable practices and the adoption of the circular economy, highlighting that sustainability is no longer exclusive to a niche, but a cross-cutting element across all business activity.<\/p><p>With this first edition, the R-Evoluciona 2025 Awards mark a milestone in the recognition of corporate sustainability in Peru,
