We are pleased to announce that we have been named an Accelerator for <\/span>Race to Zero<\/span><\/a>the world's largest coalition of non-state actors with the goal of reducing emissions to 50% by 2030.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Since the launch of the campaign in June 2020 more than 14,000 stakeholders have already joined this initiative, committing to reduce emissions in all scopes, aligned to the Paris Agreement, setting concrete targets and reporting their progress.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

As Accelerators, we are committed to align our actions with Race to Zero criteria, share knowledge, organize events and encourage the incorporation of new members. In addition, we seek to foster collaboration between different actors and promote innovations that facilitate the path towards a zero net emissions economy.<\/span><\/p>

Razan Al Mubarak, UN High Level Champion for Climate Change at COP28, and Ms. Nigar Arpadarai, UN High Level Champion for Climate Change at COP29. \"After years of working together to advance the decarbonization of the Latin American economy, we look forward to deepening our relationship with Nexos+1 to further catalyze corporate climate action ahead of COP30 in Brazil and beyond.\"<\/span><\/p>

Being part of this initiative further strengthens our commitment to Latin American corporate climate action, which we have already been promoting through numerous initiatives. One of these is the <\/span>self-diagnosis of corporate climate maturity<\/span><\/a>The Race to Zero tool, based on Race to Zero criteria, allows organizations to know, free of charge, their degree of progress and next steps to be taken.<\/span><\/p>

About Race to Zero<\/b><\/p>

Led by the UN High-Level Champions for Climate Change, the Race to Zero campaign is a global movement that calls on non-state actors - including businesses, cities, regions, and financial, educational and health institutions - to take rigorous and immediate action to contribute to the halving of global emissions by 2030 and achieve a healthier, fairer and carbon-free world.
