Arca Continental Lindley<\/a>the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola Peru products, together with Tiendas Tambo, a well-known chain of convenience stores, joined forces in a recycling initiative to promote responsible consumption and care for the environment by recycling PET containers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The campaign collected more than 1 ton of PET bottles during its three-month duration and awarded, through a raffle, five Tambo customers who participated in this initiative. This campaign was active in 20 selected stores with recycling stations, located in the districts of Barranco, La Molina, La Victoria, Los Olivos, San Borja, San Isidro, San Miguel, Santiago de Surco and Miraflores.<\/span><\/p>

The 5 winners of the raffle received the following prizes: a Lenovo IdeaPad Laptop, a Lenovo Tab M10 Tablet, a Raven RGB gamer chair, a Xiaomi Redmi Watch 3 ACTIVE Smartwatch and a bluetooth headset.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\"Arca Continental in Peru seeks to promote a culture of recycling among the population through strategic alliances and experiences with our brands and the company. We continually seek to encourage more people to use returnable bottles and recycle their bottles, as in this opportunity together with our ally Tambo\",<\/span><\/i> Alberto Martos, Sustainability Manager of Arca Continental in Peru, mentioned.<\/span><\/p>

David Valdivia, Institutional Relations Manager of Tiendas Tambo, added the following: <\/span>\"We are pleased and proud to have been part of this initiative undertaken by Arca Continental Lindley, as we have been able to perceive a genuine intention to be part of this recycling awareness chain in the country on the part of our employees and customers.<\/span><\/i><\/p>

This initiative is carried out in partnership with the NGO Recicla LATAM, which involves municipal authorities of the aforementioned districts, who guarantee the correct segregation of waste together with recyclers' associations.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

\"<\/span>This program is a success story in which we managed to increase recycling rates through the articulation between the government, the private sector and civil society.
