The Clemesi solar park in Enel Generaci\u00f3n Per\u00fa<\/a>, located in the Mariscal Nieto province of the Moquegua region, began commercial operation after receiving approval from the Economic Operation Committee of the National Interconnected System (COES). This milestone consolidates the company's leadership as the main renewable energy generator in the country, gathering 36% of the nominal solar and wind power capacity of the national territory with 392 MW.<\/p>

\u201cThanks to this milestone, our Clemes\u00ed and Rub\u00ed solar plants are consolidated as the largest solar complex in Peru. Peruvians should be proud of the enormous renewable potential that exists in their territory. The Clemes\u00ed solar plant represented an investment of USD 77.8 million and has an installed capacity of 115 MW. It has more than 220 thousand solar panels with a power of 525 Watts each. They are state-of-the-art bifacial panels, capable of taking advantage of the sun on both sides, that is to say, they take advantage of the direct irradiance and the irradiance reflected on the ground.<\/p>

\u201cThe commercial operation of Clemes\u00ed guarantees the supply of renewable energy for the economic activities framed in the respective trade agreements. It also symbolizes the fulfillment of our promise to be the main ally of the industries that move the country, by providing them with sustainable, reliable energy at competitive prices\u201d, <\/i>noted\u00a0Eugenio Calder\u00f3n, Head of Power Generation Per\u00fa.<\/b><\/p><\/blockquote>

During the construction period, Enel Generaci\u00f3n Per\u00fa helped to boost the economy in the Moquegua region by creating 983 jobs both in the projects and in the activities surrounding them, of which 520 were performed by Moqueguanos. In addition, a cooperation agreement was signed with the Pampa de Clemes\u00ed Association to promote competitive funds for the development of projects in various areas, such as: access to energy, social development, entrepreneurship, access to water, among others.<\/p>

Enel Generaci\u00f3n Per\u00fa is the leading company in the Peruvian electricity market. It has an installed capacity of 2.3 gigawatts (GW), representing 16.8% of the available power in the country, which allows it to offer sustainable, reliable energy at competitive prices. It is also the main renewable energy generator in Peru, with around 600 MW of solar and wind capacity, and a renewable energy project portfolio of more than 12,000 MW.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
