These agencies have achieved a minimum 20% reduction in energy, water and embodied energy consumption in their building materials as part of their sustainability transformation project.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Certification <\/span><b>EDGE <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">is a global standard developed by the <\/span><b>International Finance Corporation (IFC)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The World Bank group recognizes buildings that achieve efficient and sustainable use of resources.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is important to mention that of the <b>17<\/b>\u00a0BCP agencies certified to date, <b>10<\/b> have earned EDGE Advanced Certification. This distinction is awarded to those buildings that achieve a minimum savings of 40% in energy and 20% in water and embodied energy compared to local conventional buildings.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Diego Cavero, General Manager of BCP,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> expressed his pride for this recognition and underscored the institution's commitment to caring for the environment and providing efficient and responsible services. He also mentioned the bank's initiative to promote sustainable practices, both by example and through financing, including green loans for companies.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The case of the <\/span><b>Higuereta Oval Agency,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that has achieved a <\/span><b>100% savings <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at <\/span><b>energy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in the \"office\" category, making it the first building in South America to achieve this maximum result under the \"office\" standards. <\/span><b>EDGE.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This achievement has been accomplished through the implementation of solar panels, air conditioning equipment and energy-efficient lighting, among other initiatives.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first phase of the project for the transformation of<\/span><b> BCP agencies<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">announced last year, has resulted in the transformation of <\/span><b>105 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">agencies to date.
