This achievement has been possible thanks to its materials reuse program, waste management and, mainly, to the increased introduction of hybrid electric and CNG vehicles in the country.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cReceiving this recognition validates the constant work of our organization to measure its carbon footprint, demonstrating a real decrease in our emissions. We thank the entire team that is committed to mitigating the effects of climate change for the benefit of a more prosperous future,\u201d he said. <\/span><b>David Caro, Corporate Affairs and ESG Manager of Toyota del Per\u00fa.<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In line with its objective of <\/span><b>achieving carbon neutrality by 2050,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the automotive company continues to expand its product portfolio. In Peru, the strategy to reduce CO2 emissions is based on the diversification of technologies. These include the expansion of electric hybrid vehicles, the increased use of natural gas vehicles, and the introduction of vehicles with smaller displacement engines.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the current context, where the vehicle cycle represents the main source of emissions, another important aspect to prioritize is the regionalization of vehicles. This implies an emphasis on knowing the origin of the vehicles and adopting initiatives that minimize displacements in the distribution routes.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThis important milestone reflects our commitment to sustainability. We remain steadfast in our global goal of achieving carbon neutrality in the full life cycle of our products by 2050,\u201d added David Caro.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Toyota del Per\u00fa, they believe in making carbon neutrality a tangible reality and not just a goal.
