Fenix, an electric power generation and marketing company<\/a>donated to date\u00a0more than 262 million liters of water to the community of Chilca<\/strong>located in the province of Ca\u00f1ete, to cover the deficit in terms of access to this fundamental resource.<\/p>

As soon as the\u00a0State of National Emergency<\/strong>\u00a0In March of this year, Fenix sought to guarantee the production and delivery of free drinking water to its neighboring community. In this sense, the power generator continues with this action, which in the current context is indispensable to face the\u00a0spread of the new coronavirus<\/a>.<\/p>

\"We know that water is a basic resource to cope with the spread of the virus, so our first action was to ensure our\u00a0normal delivery of drinking water<\/strong>The company has also added a supply to reach sectors that do not have this service through the main network,\" said Roxana Aliaga, Fenix's Corporate Affairs Manager.

In coordination with the municipal authority, we have arranged for a\u00a0additional supply of two tanks<\/strong>These are being distributed to residents who do not have access to water through the main distribution network. To date, more than 8,000 residents of Chilca have benefited from the joint work of the private company and the municipality.

Sea Water that Transforms Lives'.<\/strong>\u00a0is the program of\u00a0production and delivery of free drinking water from Fenix<\/strong>. This initiative is possible because the company has a desalination plant that, using reverse osmosis technology, desalinates seawater to produce drinking water for its neighboring community and demineralized water for its energy production process.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
