This action is part of Scotiabank's sustainability strategy, with which it aims to<strong> reduce the impact of your carbon footprint<\/strong> for the following years.<\/p><p>The use of QR to provide product information will prevent the printing of <strong>more than 789 thousand brochures<\/strong> per year, equivalent to <strong>67 trees<\/strong>. In turn, this initiative represents a further step in the bank's commitment to the <strong>inclusion in the<\/strong> <strong>facilitate content for people with disabilities<\/strong> through screen-reading tools. As of this year, the<\/p><p>Scotiabank Group began measuring Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and registered its results on the platform <strong>Carbon Footprint Peru of the Ministry of Environment<\/strong> (MINAM), joining the country's goal of achieving a 30% reduction in GHG emissions by 2030.
